About the game
The Goddesses are Gone is a tiny, solo, scoring-oriented strategy game.
You'll build a city in vast, strange caves, before the ichor tide rises and once again destroys everything. In this optimization puzzle, you'll have to invest your resources wisely to get the best score you can! There is no clear, best path, and you only get 10 turns before the end!
The game is inspired by tabletop games, and focuses on juicy interactions and physicality.
We hope you'll have fun playing this weird little game that we worked really hard to make.
Look out for future updates, and don't hesitate to give us some feedback or request features. (Even though we may never get around to adding them.)
And if you enjoy it, leave a comment so we can feed it to the god-ants.
And if you beat the world record of 193, send a screen cap so we can showcase it!
Atchadywa djeñ.
Accessibility
The game's controls are entirely reconfigurable. It is also entirely playable using a controller.
There is also a one-button mode to play the game using only a single input, no mouse required!

Made as a student project for the first year Master's degree at the CNAM-ENJMIN.
Our eternal gratitude to Eris Desquilbet for crafting a beautiful costume for us.
Many thanks as well to our playtesters, especially DeepDriah and Xavier R. for their enthusiasm and dedication towards breaking the game's high scores, as well as Stephanie M. for her sharp eye (as always) and convincing the designer to cut like half the resources in the game (which made it much better).

Omega banger
I already played the game at a demonstration, but this is the type of game you can't get out of your head until you mastered it.
And I just downloaded it to play it again, understand more of the brilliant game system and battle with my friends on who will get the most victory points out of it è~é
Interesting and challenging experience : in order to ensure the return of the goddesses, you better be careful with every step as it's no easy task to make an entire civilization thrive.
The game encourages you to replay as a newer generation and to get better at each and every try, until you manage to make the best possible version of your civilization. Great work !
